A small frame for something deeply personal. This round 9ct Gold picture locket has a clear window surrounded by warm Gold, with delicate curls rising towards its rounded screw top. Dating to around 1910, it is a lovely way to keep a favourite photograph, pressed flower or little poem close.

The simple circular shape gives the contents centre stage, while the scrollwork adds a gentle flourish. Choose a memento that means something to you and make this antique locket part of your own story.

ERA: Circa 1910

MEASUREMENTS: Approximately 30mm in diameter and 40mm long including the bail.
WEIGHT: 4.6g

MATERIALS: Tests as solid 9ct Gold.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD: The glass is intact, the Gold has a lovely lustre and attractive aged patina, and the screw mechanism works very well. There is slight wear to the bail. Take care not to over-wind the screw when closing, and retain the internal padding to maintain tension and hold photographs in place. This is a picture locket and is not suitable as a shaker. A charming personal keepsake in very good condition.
