A striking Victorian pendant in rich 18ct Gold, this 1851 jewel marries deep black Enamel with a high-domed oval Banded Agate and a halo of sparkling Diamonds. The scalloped cartouche and foliate scroll borders create beautiful movement and texture, while the glossy Enamel provides dramatic contrast to the glowing Gold.
The Agate’s natural concentric banding is wonderfully showcased at the centre, framed by old-style collet-set Diamonds totalling approximately 0.60ct for a refined scintillation. Elegantly finished and steeped in period charm, the reverse bears an inscription reading “C.L.S 9 May 1851 at 87”, adding a personal historical note to this impeccably preserved treasure.

Banded Agate measures 20mm long x 16.5mm wide.
Diamonds measure approx. 2.5mm in diameter, weighing approx. 0.60ct combined.
WEIGHT: 14.5g.
MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Banded Agate, Diamond (0.60ct), Enamel, Human Hair.
STAMPS: Engraved initials “C.L.S” and the date “9 May 1851 at 87”.
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.
PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.
Condition
EXCELLENT: The black Enamel is glossy and intact with only light, age-related surface wear. The Banded Agate cabochon is smooth and secure; the Diamonds are bright and well-matched, all set securely in their collets. The Gold retains crisp detail with minimal wear and no obvious signs of repair or restoration.

Layaway Installment Plans
A layaway is an interest-free payment plan that enables you to reserve an item with an initial deposit, and then pay the balance over 60 days.
Layaway is very popular with Lillicoco customers, particularly when making a more considered purchase.
How It Works
In total, you will make three payments over three months:
Day 1: 33.33%
Day 30: 33.33%
Day 60: 33.33%
Your layaway purchase is reserved for you as soon as the initial payment has been taken.
Your order is shipped once the full balance has been paid.
All of our usual terms and conditions apply with a layaway purchase, although 15% of the invoice total is nonrefundable in case of cancellation or return, acting as an administration fee.
A layaway is not a loan, nor is it a form of credit. A credit check is not required to put an item on layaway, and missing a payment will not affect your credit score.
If you do not complete your layaway on schedule your reservation may be cancelled and your payments may be refunded, minus the administration fee.
