Glowing with an enchanting palette of blue, green and delicate pink, this Vintage 9ct Gold Opal Cluster Ring is a wonderfully dreamy jewel. At its centre rests a luminous oval cabochon Opal, surrounded by a playful halo of smaller round Opals.

The natural solid Opals weigh approximately 1.25ct in total, with their shifting play of colour beautifully complemented by the warm Gold setting. Split shoulders lend the ring an airy, elegant profile, allowing the vibrant cluster to take centre stage.

MEASUREMENTS: Cluster is 12mm long x 10.5mm wide.
Central Opal measures 8mm long x 6.5mm wide, weighing approx. 1.00ct.
Surrounding Opals measure 2mm in diameter, weighing approx. 0.25ct combined.
Total Opal weight is approx. 1.25ct.
Ring band is 2mm wide at the back.
WEIGHT: 2.5g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Natural Solid Opals (1.25ct).

HALLMARKS: Crown, 18, London leopard’s head assay mark and date letter U for 1994

Condition

EXCELLENT: The natural solid Opals are secure, with no obvious chips or significant surface abrasions, and display an attractive play of colour. The Gold setting, split shoulders and band remain in excellent order with only minimal surface wear. There are no obvious signs of resizing or restoration, and the ring has been very well cared for.
